The Troma Night Drinking Rules - Version 3

Understanding The Rules

To participate in the hallowed tradition of The Troma Night Drinking Game, you will need an alcoholic beverage, and probably several of them. If for whatever reason you're not drinking (designated decoy, teetotaller, wuss, etc.) it's considered polite to still "play along," spotting instances of rules for other people and making the "drinky drinky" gesture with your hands or with a soft drink.

All drinking in the rules is defined as a number of shots. We don't recommend that you drink shots of your favourite spirit (and we're even less likely to recommend that you drink shots of your least favourite), as law enforcement agencies may later find us guilty of assisted suicide. Instead, we recommend beer, wine, or spirits-with-a-mixer be used. The size a gulp that is a "shot" is left up to the participant: however, as a rule of thumb, a "shot" of beer is often measured in "fingers." A two-finger drink from a bottle of beer, for instance, reduces the volume in the bottle by the width of two of your fingers, which is easy to measure because you'll be holding the bottle with those same fingers.

Troma Night encourages sensible drinking. The drinking rules exist only to provide an additional form of entertainment (which, during some of the more dire films, is perhaps essential) during the evening. You don't need to memorise them, although it will earn you Respect Points which can later be traded in for sexual favours, we've heard. Just memorise a subset and allow others to do the same, and be ready with your glass in your hand when somebody calls out "Nipples! Drink!"

If in doubt, drink until you reach that stage of drunkenness when you know everything, and then you won't doubt any more.
